Chicanine是兴山五味子中的木酚素类化合物，通过IκBα/ MAPK / ERK信号通路下调LPS诱导的RAW 264.7细胞中的促炎性细胞因子（NO、TNF-α、IL-1 β、iNOS等），发挥其抗炎活性。Chicanine具有抗肿瘤活性，应用于医药领域。
